What are we hoping Santa will bring us for Christmas

The team at DVD.CO.UK have a long list of things they want this Christmas and they are all hoping that Santa's sack will be overflowing when he tries to squeeze himself down the chimney this year. An office poll shows that the most wanted items are:

1.
4Gb USB Pen Drive - SanDisk Cruzer
Currently £14.99

This is an awesome piece of storage and we can't believe how cheap it is! Getting one of these would allow us to transfer pretty much anything we want and no one wants to turn up at the parents house without a good selection of our own MP3s.

We'll also be using it to back up all of the office party photographs so that Jennie from accounts can't delete all of the embarrassing photographs that we'll all be referring to for the whole of 2008.

2.
Blu-ray High Definition Version of David Attenborough's Planet Earth
Currently £35.95

We've all been splashing out on Blu-Ray players, HD-DVD players, Playstations and XBoxs and we all agree that nothing shows them offer better than the BBC's Planet Earth. The whole series was shot especially for High Definition viewing and we know that this box set will prove to our wives and girlfriends that it was worth spending all of that money on the new TV.

3.
QI Interactive Game - Strictly Come Duncing
Currently £13.49

Stephen Fry is a British legend with a brain the size of Wisconsin (read his blog at http://www.stephenfry.com/blog if you don't believe me), and QI is the best quiz show on TV so when I turn up for my parents Christmas party, I'll be forcing them to play this by accidentally spilling beer all over the Monopoly set.

4.
Star Trek - The Next Generation - Complete Box Set
Currently £109.99

How cool was The Next Generation? Cooler than the dvd.co.uk office when the heating has failed to come on (we're having some trouble with it recently). Series 1 to 7 of Star Trek TNG in an outstanding box set. This is so beautiful that the missus will finally let us move the porcelain clown ornament that Aunty Jean bought us in 2003 to display this in pride of place.

Make it so.

5.

Doctor Who - The New Series - Series 3 Complete Box Set
Currently £43.99

How long will we be calling this "The New Series" for?

This is going to be the best Christmas Day ever. Doctor Who has Kylie Minogue as his assistant - dressed in a waitresses outfit!!! Find out all about the Christmas special over at Planet Gallifrey.

If we don't find this on in our Christmas stockings we'll be throwing more than tantrum.

6.
Big Brain Academy for the Nintendo Wii
Currently £29.99

Having reduced our brain ages with the mighty Dr Kawashima and our Nintendo DS's, we're all wanting to increase our brain weights on the Wii.

Forget Trivial Pursuits and who went to University or not, we want cold hard facts to show the rest of the family who was the smartest child this Christmas and we know that the Wii is our strongest point.

7.
Desperate Housewives - Dirty Laundry Edition - Complete Season 3
Currently £32.89

There are some girlies in the DVD office (remember Jennie in accounts?) and like the Aussies remembering a bottle of sherry for the the ladies we included the girls in our Christmas round-up. Overwhelmingly it was Desperate Housewives that would make the girls stockings worth plundering this Christmas.

Secretly, a lot of the guys are buying this for their girlfriends just so that they can catch up on the last season after Christmas.

8.
Jack Bauer "Guns don't kill terrorists, Jack Bauer does" T-Shirt
Current Price £12.99

Agent Jack Bauer rules in the at DCU (Dvd.Co.Uk's version of CTU) where all of our office phones have the CTU ringtone set up and we're constantly telling people to "Send it to my screen" even though no one can and none of our techie guys can find a program that will allow us to send things to our screens.

If anyone knows how to do this, add it in the comments as a "send it my screen" option would be a great Christmas present too.

9.
Pakuma ChorKa K2 Messenger Laptop Bag
Currently £29.99

Following in Agent Jack Bauers footsteps, no one in the office can be seen without their handy messenger back stuffed to gunnels with anti-terrorist equipment, or in our cases sandwiches and copy of that new action movie DVD we've been sent as a preview and that we secretly think the wife will want to watch because we "got it early".

10.
Epson Multipack Print Cartridge
Currently £16.99

And finally, we all need more printer ink! The kids will be printing their thank you cards and Christmas photo's and the wife will go crazy if we don't have a reserve supply of the coloured stuff hidden away in a drawer somewhere.
